The sea has always carried a language of its own, one that does not need words to be understood. In this piece, I wanted to capture the sea at the quietest moment between day and night. The soft tones of the fading sky meet the deeper blues of the water, creating a contrast between light and depth. The waves are layered and expressive, moving across the canvas like thoughts that never truly come to rest. For me, the sea is more than a landscape. It is a place of reflection, escape, and emotional stillness. Every wave suggests movement, yet the overall scene remains peaceful. I wanted the viewer to feel as though they are standing before the water, taking a moment away from everything else. This painting is a reflection of a feeling I often find in the sea: the ability to be surrounded by movement while still finding peace within yourself. يحمل البحر لغةً خاصة به، لغة لا تحتاج إلى الكلمات حتى تُفهم. في هذا العمل، أردت أن أوثّق البحر في لحظته الهادئة الفاصلة بين النهار والليل. تتلاقى درجات السماء الناعمة مع زرقة المياه العميقة، لتشكّل تباينًا بين النور والعمق. أما الأمواج، فقد رُسمت بطبقات وحركات متتابعة، وكأنها أفكار لا تهدأ تمامًا. بالنسبة لي، البحر ليس مجرد مشهد طبيعي، بل هو مساحة للتأمل والهروب والسكينة الداخلية. فكل موجة تحمل حركة، ومع ذلك يبقى المشهد بأكمله هادئًا. أردت للمشاهد أن يشعر وكأنه يقف أمام البحر للحظة، بعيدًا عن ضجيج كل ما حوله. يمثّل هذا العمل إحساسًا أجدُه دائمًا في البحر: أن تكون محاطًا بالحركة، ومع ذلك تجد السلام في داخلك.

Some landscapes cannot be reached by walking toward them. This piece was created as an exploration of texture, depth, and the unknown. Its dark, uneven surface is marked by circular forms and subtle impressions, creating the suggestion of a distant world shaped by time. Rather than presenting a familiar landscape, I wanted to create something that feels almost discovered, a surface carrying traces of a story that existed before us. The monochromatic palette removes distraction and allows texture to become the main language of the work. The circular impressions can be viewed as craters, memories, or simply marks left behind by time. Their meaning is intentionally open. For me, the artwork speaks about the beauty of the unknown and the stories that remain hidden beneath the surface. ليست كل المناظر التي نبحث عنها عوالم يمكن الوصول إليها بخطواتنا. جاء هذا العمل كتجربة في الملمس والعمق والمجهول. فسطحه الداكن وغير المنتظم، وما يحمله من دوائر وآثار متباينة، يوحي بعالم بعيد تشكّل عبر الزمن. لم أرد تقديم مشهد مألوف بقدر ما أردت خلق إحساس بشيء تم اكتشافه، سطح يحمل آثار حكاية سبقت وجودنا. ويسمح غياب الألوان المتعددة للملمس بأن يصبح اللغة الأساسية للعمل. أما الأشكال الدائرية، فيمكن أن تُقرأ كفوهات، أو كذكريات، أو ببساطة كآثار تركها الزمن. وقد تركت معناها مفتوحًا أمام تأويل المشاهد. بالنسبة لي، يتحدث هذا العمل عن جمال المجهول، وعن الحكايات التي تبقى مخفية تحت السطح.

I have always believed that flowers speak without saying a word. In this work, I imagined a garden where every flower carries a different feeling. Soft pinks suggest tenderness, oranges and yellows bring warmth and energy, while blues, purples, and whites create moments of calm within the composition. I intentionally brought different flowers together rather than focusing on one perfect bloom. The result is abundant, colourful, and slightly unpredictable, much like the emotions that fill our lives. The raised textures give the flowers a physical presence, allowing them to emerge from the surface rather than simply exist upon it. This creates a sense of movement, as though the garden is growing beyond the boundaries of the frame. This piece is my celebration of colour, individuality, and the small moments of beauty that make life feel fuller. لطالما آمنت بأن للزهور لغة خاصة، تتحدث بها دون كلمات. في هذا العمل، تخيلت حديقة تحمل كل زهرة فيها إحساسًا مختلفًا. ترمز درجات الوردي الناعمة إلى الرقة، بينما يضيف البرتقالي والأصفر دفئًا وحيوية، وتمنح درجات الأزرق والبنفسجي والأبيض مساحات من الهدوء داخل التكوين. تعمدت أن أجمع أنواعًا وألوانًا مختلفة من الزهور بدلًا من التركيز على زهرة واحدة مثالية. فجاء العمل غنيًا بالألوان، متنوعًا، وعفويًا إلى حد ما، تمامًا كالمشاعر التي تملأ حياتنا. وتمنح العناصر البارزة والملمس المرتفع الزهور حضورًا ملموسًا، وكأنها تنمو خارج سطح اللوحة بدلًا من أن تبقى محصورة فيه. وهذا يخلق إحساسًا بالحركة، وكأن الحديقة تمتد إلى ما وراء حدود الإطار. هذا العمل هو احتفاء مني بالألوان، والاختلاف، والتفاصيل الصغيرة من الجمال التي تجعل الحياة أكثر امتلاءً.

Strength does not always need to be loud. In this portrait, I was drawn to the presence of the bird before anything else. Its gaze, sharp features, and layered feathers create a quiet sense of power. Rather than portraying movement or flight, I chose a composed pose that allows the character of the subject to take centre stage. Working in black and white strips the image down to its essentials. Light becomes part of the drawing, while the darker areas create weight, depth, and intensity. The detailed strokes in the feathers were used to build not only realism, but personality. To me, the bird represents freedom, awareness, resilience, and the confidence to observe before taking flight. The work is ultimately a reminder that some of the strongest forms of power are the ones that do not need to announce themselves. ليست القوة دائمًا بحاجة إلى أن تكون صاخبة. في هذا العمل، جذبني حضور الطائر قبل أي تفصيل آخر. فنظرته الحادة، وملامحه الواضحة، وتداخل ريشه تمنح العمل إحساسًا هادئًا بالقوة. وبدلًا من تصويره في حالة حركة أو طيران، اخترت له وضعية ثابتة تتيح لشخصيته أن تكون محور العمل. إن استخدام الأبيض والأسود يختزل الصورة إلى عناصرها الأساسية، فيصبح الضوء جزءًا من الرسم، بينما تمنح المساحات الداكنة العمل عمقًا وثقلًا وحضورًا قويًا. أما التفاصيل الدقيقة في الريش، فلم تُستخدم لإبراز الواقعية فحسب، بل لإضفاء شخصية وحضور على الطائر. بالنسبة لي، يرمز الطائر إلى الحرية، والوعي، والصمود، والثقة التي تمنح صاحبها القدرة على المراقبة قبل التحليق. وفي جوهره، يذكّرنا هذا العمل بأن بعض أقوى أشكال القوة هي تلك التي لا تحتاج إلى أن تعلن عن نفسها.

كلمة الفنانة

My work is inspired by the relationship between nature and emotion. I am drawn to subjects that carry a sense of movement, silence, texture, or character, and I use colour and form to translate the feelings they evoke in me. Whether I am painting the sea, building texture, creating flowers, or exploring a subject through drawing, I am less interested in simply reproducing what I see and more interested in capturing what I feel when I look at it. For me, art is a space where observation becomes emotion, and emotion becomes something tangible.

تستمد أعمالي الفنية إلهامها من العلاقة بين الطبيعة والمشاعر الإنسانية. أميل إلى الموضوعات التي تحمل في داخلها إحساسًا بالحركة أو السكون أو الملمس أو الشخصية، وأسعى من خلال اللون والشكل إلى ترجمة المشاعر التي تثيرها في داخلي. سواء كنت أرسم البحر، أو أبتكر أعمالًا ذات ملمس بارز، أو أقدّم الزهور، أو أستكشف موضوعًا من خلال الرسم، فإن اهتمامي لا يقتصر على إعادة تصوير ما أراه، بل يمتد إلى محاولة تجسيد ما أشعر به عندما أنظر إليه. بالنسبة لي، الفن هو المساحة التي يتحول فيها التأمل إلى إحساس، ويتحول الإحساس إلى شيء يمكن رؤيته ولمسه.
